Once the order is cancelled, the refund shall be initiated and it should reflect in your account within 5 -7 business days through the original mode of payment.

We do not accept returns as all our carpets are custom-made and our craftspeople put in days of hard-work to prepare your special rug.

Email us to re-request a copy of the email on post@mareenlines.com. We will resend it on your registered email address.

In case of a manufacturing defect found kindly notify us via e-mail at post@mareenlines.com along with 3 images of the damaged rug/carpet within the warranty period. If the defect is found to be of the nature covered under the warranty policy, we will provide you the best possible resolution. Warranties are non-transferable. Proof of original purchase is also required. Logistic charges to be borne by the customer, Mareen Lines can arrange for pickup & delivery for customer vantage. If Mareen Lines replaces your rug under any of the limited warranties, the remaining portion of the warranty period will be based on your original purchase date.

Mareen Lines products come with a product warranty of up to 24 months against manufacturing defects depending upon the construction (weaving) of the rug as below:

Hand Knotted, Tibetan, Patchwork: 24 Months

Hand Tufted, Handloom, Flat Weave, Shags, Hand-woven: 6 Months

We warranty that our carpets will be free from any material & manufacturing defect. Our warranty is to promptly correct defects apparent within warranty period including damage to an adjacent surface damaged by correction.

The following would constitute ‘defects apparent within the warranty period’: 

  • Delimitation of any degree, whether in the backing or surface
    Edge ravel
  • Shrinkage and opening of seams
  • Buckling or rippling
  • This warranty shall apply only to carpets maintained & installed in accordance with industry guidelines only.
  • Shedding. (This can be reduced by vacuuming the rug at a low power mode at least once a week)
  • Occasional sprouting pulls or loss of single tufts of fiber.
  • Color and texture changes due to the use of natural fibers and dyes or prolonged exposure to sunlight, humidity, heat or certain atmospheric gases.
  • Rolling marks or pile pressure. (These can disappear with routine vacuuming)
  • Matting and crushing in rugs, which can be minimized by proper maintenance of the rug.
  • Rugs recently removed from a bag may have odor which can dissipate by placing the rug (back side up) in direct sunlight for 24 hours.
  • Improper Installation.
  • Abnormal Wear or Accidents.
  • Use of topical treatments.
  • Stains.

In the event that a non-delivery occurs on account of a mistake by you (i.e. wrong name, address or contact number ) any extra cost towards re-delivery shall be claimed by the user placing the order.

Shipment/delivery time, of the order processing, starts from the day of receipt of the payment confirmed against the order placed with us. The shipment/delivery time is an approximate time mentioned by the vendor against each product. Mareen Lines shall not be liable for any delay / non-delivery of purchased goods by flood, fire, wars, acts of God or any cause that is beyond control of Mareen Lines.

The user must agree to provide authentic and true information, to avoid any kind of delay or loss of merchandise. Mareen Lines reserves the right to confirm and validate the information and other details provided by the user at any point in time. If upon confirmation, such user details are found not true (wholly or partly), Mareen Lines has the right in its sole discretion to reject the registration and debar the user from using the services available at this website, and/or other affiliated websites without prior intimation whatsoever.
